The factory-installed locomotive sound decoder handles the four data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®,Selectrix® and M4. The installed, largest possible speaker is matched to the locomotive type. The decoder has up to 23 switchable functions. Many locomotive-typical sounds such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeal,shunting and other sounds such as station announcements can be called up individually. The tail light can be switchable. Sound is also possible in analog mode - engine noise only.
