~E 94 Electric DB III Sound

Novelty 2024: Model version of the class E 94 of the German Federal Railroad in Era III. The model takes into account the special details of its prototype and reproduces them exactly on a scale of 1:87. The harmonious lighting in the two drivers cabs and in the engine room can be switched digitally and set the interior fittings of the locomotive perfectly in scene. A PSD XP sound decoder is installed ex works for this purpose, including the largest possible loudspeaker for excellent sound reproduction.

The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new fits mfx® quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test.These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx® quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the fits mfx® logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
