~BR 193 Electric Kombirail VI Sound

Novelty 2024: The BR 193 Vectron in the We trust in Rail design from KombiRail in Era VI. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven via all four axles, is boosted by two traction tyres that are positioned diagonally to each other on the inside axles of both bogies. The headlights and tail lights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white colour changes with the direction of travel. The elegant external appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical roof landscape and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker to control the digital and sound functions.

The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new fits mfx® quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test.
These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx® quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the fits mfx® logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
