~BR 187 Stern Hafferl VI

In October 2018, the company Stern &Hafferl took delivery of the new 187 333 "Last Mile" in the company´s own design and replaces the previously usedRailpool 187 315, which is mainly used for RailCargo Austria the trains between the cement works inGmunden and Ebensee. The class 187,as the first representative of the now third Traxx-series from Bombardier, is a state-of-the-art electric bogie locomotive for electric bogie locomotive for systems with15 kV and 16.7 Hz as well as 25 kV 50 Hz alternating current.As a special feature, the new machine has a180-kW auxiliary diesel engine, with which it is capable of running short connecting sections not covered by an overhead contact line at around 50 km/h.
