The only authentic information from the construction period of the Saxonia comes from N. N. W. Meißner, with the following information on the Saxonia:

Wheel diameter of the coupled axles: 1,416 mm
Boiler diameter: 910 mm
Number of smoke tubes: 90
Tube diameter: 38 mm
Boiler length (long boiler center): 1,979 mm
Service mass: 11 Mp
Speed: about 50 km/h
The historical wagonsAs wagons, we have added to the Saxonia a closed freight car, two different passenger cars with carriage-shaped individual compartments and an open freight car. The latter is nothing more than an equipment carriage for passengers who could not part with their own carriage during the rail journey
