GER: ~Diesel/Sound D. 445 FS VI

Novelty 2025: With the new design of the D.445 FS, PIKO presents an Italian universal genius in 1:87 scale! The PIKO model is presented in the XMPR livery in white, green and blue that has been typical since 2000. Visually, the machines impress with their successful design, a detailed interior and numerous details, such as the freely moving fan wheels under finely etched grilles. The PIKO design is technically state-of-the-art and is factory-equipped with a modern PSX XP sound decoder. This enables the switching of numerous digital functions, such as lighting in the engine room and in the driver's cabs. The model also has the green bad weather driving signal at the front that is typical of the third series of the D.445.

The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark introduced with Märklin, among others. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx® test and passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the ‘fits mfx®’ logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
