It impresses with its successful mould construction and the true-to-scale reproduction of the characteristic features of the prototype. Fine engravings and numerous free-standing components, such as windscreen wipers, handrails and filigree roof lines, as well as the delicate metal pantographs make the BR 243 from PIKO an eye-catcher on any TT layout. Great importance was also attached to high attention to detail in the area of the bogies.From a technical point of view, the PIKO model impresses with its excellent driving characteristics, whereby the tractive force is additionally optimised by two diagonally arranged traction tyres.The model is equipped ex works with a PIKO PSD XP sound decoder and has digitally switchable lighting in the drivers cabs. The vehicle-specific sounds ensure an entertaining model railway experience.
