Novelty 2023: As with the prototype, the S499.02 is also a further development of the legendary "Laminátka" in the model. Thus, both series share the sublime model quality. This becomes clear in the precise reproduction of the locomotive body with the striking fan band, the engraving of which conveys the highest plasticity in the model. The engine room windows above are perfectly flush. A special feature is the framing of the front windows, which is done justice to in the 1:87 scale with separately inserted frames. Matching to this, the vents next to the windows were also made as separate parts. Apart from the exterior qualities, the model is also technically convincing. Among the lighting functions, the undercarriage lighting with the filigree lamp glasses is particularly noteworthy. The model is factory-equipped with a PIKO sound decoder and has a matching loudspeaker.By means of the decoder, lights in the driver"s cabs, the instrument panels and the engine room can also be switched.
