GER: Sound-Dampflok BR 03 DB III Wechselstromversion, inkl. PIKO Sound-Decoder und Dampfgenerator

Novelty 2024: The class 03 steam locomotive appears as an authentic model in the DB Era III version. As with the prototype, the model has four large leading wheels, harmonious lamps as well as a matching frame and a faithful reproduction of the scissor brakes. The exterior impression is rounded off by the sharply contoured printing and the short locomotive sign. The model comes with a matching PSD XP sound decoder as well as digitally switchable lighting in the area of the running gear and the drivers cab. In addition, a red flickering LED in the area of the firebox can be switched digitally.

The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new fits mfx® quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test.
These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx® quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the fits mfx® logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
