GER: Elektrotriebzug GTW 2/6 S-Bahn Bern RM Ep. V

Novelty 2025: Printed version of the GTW 2/6 electric railcar in the attractive design of the RM Bern S-Bahn in Era V. The model is characterised in particular by the separately and precisely fitted windows, the numerous, fine engravings on the panelling, the highly detailed replica bogies, the precisely constructed roof pantographs and the precisely controllable running characteristics of the GTW. The sound version is equipped ex works with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker. The model bears the ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the ‘fits mfx®’ logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
