GER: Diesellok SP 9100 modifiziert

Novelty 2025: KM 4000 diesel locomotive in the SP 9100 version. The original SP KM 4000 locomotives began their lives as almost identical triplets. However, over the years they were modified and differed significantly from each other.The true-to-original PIKO replicas show the locomotives as they were in the mid-1960s and take into account the special structural and color features. These include side air intake grilles, filter boxes and roof vents as well as exposed exhaust systems with flap valves. The locomotive also precisely reproduces the color features of the SP 9100.The powerful motor in combination with the perfectly balanced flywheels ensures that the engine runs smoothly. The various light functions are designed using the latest LED technology and can be easily controlled digitally using a suitable decoder. The sound versions are factory-equipped with a sound decoder and matching loudspeaker. The locomotives do not have an NEM coupling shaft.
