‘Novelty 2025: Steam locomotive T 9.3 in the version as TKi3 of the PKP in epoch III.In terms of design, the Expert steam locomotive leaves hardly any room for wishes and takes into account all the structural and visual features of the prototype locomotive, such as PKP lamps, enlarged coal box, the true-to-original cable routing on the boiler or fine die-cast metal spoke wheels in typical PKP colours. The factory-integrated PIKO PSD XP sound decoder enables the switching of lighting in the drivers cab and running gear area. In addition, a digitally switched, flickering LED in the area of the firebox simulates the red glowing coals. All of the lighting, including the light change in the direction of travel, is designed using modern, maintenance-free LED technology. The numerous typical vehicle sounds ensure true-to-original model railway operation.The model bears the ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new quality mark ‘fits mfx®’ was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the ‘fits mfx®’ quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the ‘fits mfx®’ logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.’
